Zambales lawmaker dies at 83

MANILA (Updated 8:58 a.m.) — Zambales second district Representative Antonio Diaz passed away Wednesday morning due to heart problems and diabetes.
House Secretary General Marilyn Barua-Yap said Diaz died in St. Luke’s Medical Center at 6:20 a.m.
The House of Representatives will be holding a necrological service for the lawmaker on Thursday at 10 a.m. before his remains are brought to the Christ the King Church in Quezon City.The three-term congressman has been appointed as the chair of the House Committee on Interparliametary Relations and Diplomacy.
