Argentina is without a doubt the number-one hot spot for Torrentes right now and many of its producers are doing ver well with it – it’s considered to be a wholly Argentinean variety.
Originally thought to have come from the Galician region of Spain – there’s no sources I can find that know for sure how it got to Argentina.
