Masons team up with RC Balibago for Magalang mission

MAGALANG — Masons from the Tiburcio Hilario Memorial Lodge (THML) No. 394 will reach out to children studying at Barangay Ayala Elementary School here on Friday for a series of social service missions.
The mission, to be done in partnership with the Rotary Club (RC) of Balibago, is headed by RC president Roger Santos and officers of the THML led by Dennis Anthony F. Rellosa, Gerardo C. Feliciano and Ernesto S. Dumas, the masons of THML No. 394 and RC balibago members.
They will distribute slippers and school supplies for the children.
Santos said the mission serves part of the socio-civic programs of both organizations, adding RC Balibago keeps up with its goals of serving its immediate communities through such programs.
“I am happy that the Masons have been very accommodating and we have been able to partner on this upcoming mission,” Santos said.
THML No. 394, which will celebrate its First Charter Year this coming June 23, currently has 52 members. Among them are Daniel L. Lacson Jr., Ceferino L. Jimenez, Rogelio G. Santos, Peter Alexander S. Uy, Redentor S. Gatus, Mardonio M. Santos, Augusto B. Ocampo, Joselene B. Dimalanta, Rodolfo J. Salientes, Rodolfo M. Mallari, Niccolo Vittorio A. Go, Miguel M. Guzman, Criscente C. Tiguelo, Ricardo S. Zapata Jr., Elmo H. Ocampo, Edilberto R. Santos Jr., Camilo C. Amurao, Edegard C. Miano, Remigio C. Bucad, Nestor L. Bulatao Jr. and Edgar D. Dale.
There are currently five Lodges in Pampanga duly recognized under the jurisdiction of the MW Grand Lodge of the Philippines. These are Pampanga Masonic Lodge No. 48 (CSF,Pampanga), Leonard Wood Lodge No. 105 (Angeles City), Jose Abad Santos Mem. Lodge No. 333 (Clarkfield), Magalang Lodge no. 391 (Clarkfiel), and Tiburcio Hilario Memorial Lodge No. 394 (CSF, Pampanga).
Mabuhay Lodge No. 59 (Dau, Mabalacat) of the MW Princehall Grand Lodge of Washington is also a recognized Masonic Lodge in the Philippine jurisdiction.
Though open for membership among upright male citizens, it is not the custom of Masons to invite. Interested gentlemen can, however, ask masons on how they can join the fraternity.
