Health office bags 3 Red Cross awards

CLARK FREEPORT — The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Health Services Office took home three citations bestowed by the Philippine National Red Cross, which recognized the valiant contributions of individuals or firms in the agency’s annual bloodletting and training programs.
CDC-HSO Manager Dr. Clemencita D. Dobles said the PNRC has bestowed a Merit Certificate Award to the state-owned firm for supporting the PNRC Pampanga-Angeles City Chapter in its Safety Services (SS) by conducting regular SS trainings among its employees and different locator firms inside the Clark Freeport.
Dobles added that the CDC was cited for supporting the PNRC local chapter’s fund campaign by encouraging CDC employees and their families to become PNRC members.
Also, the PRC cited the state-run corporation for supporting its blood service program by organizing regular mobile blood donations among CDC employees, including those in participating locator firms here.
Dobles also reported that two CDC employees were also cited in the PNRC awards: Maria Socorro Perpetua L. Capili, a registered nurse at the CDC-HSO, who was recognized for her active participation in various PRC chapter projects and trainings; and Alberto L. Yabut, who received an award for being a “blood galloner.”
