Developer donates lots to Bataan residents

HERMOSA, Bataan–The second batch of recipients and the authorized representative of the Riverforest Development Corporation (RDC) and Litton Family have executed respective memorandum of agreement (MOA) recently, a first step in the donation process of homelots in Litton estate in Barangay Sumalo, this town.
The Litton Family was personally represented by Alex Litton, also the assigned chief settlement officer of the property, in a simple homelots donation ceremony here.
A principal donee is entitled to a 300-square meters homelot.
According to Atty. Anita Chauhan, head of the RDC Community Relations Department (ComRel), the second batch is composed of 108 homelot donees.
There were 29 donees belonging to the first batch who already received homelots from RDC.
As a requirement, the donees earlier attended an orientation seminar facilitated by the RDC to fully understand the lot donation process.
Chauhan explained to beneficiaries that the lot donation process involves three steps.
The first step, she explained, includes a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signing. Attached to the MOA is the sketch plan of the actual area being occupied by a donee.
She further explained that the second step includes another signing of MOA. This time attached to the MOA is the sketch of the actual size or the entitled lot area to be given to the donee.
The last part is the signing of the Deed of Donation.
The RDC targets to have 300 homelot donees by December this year.
Twelve subdivision plans were made out of 6 puroks in Sumalo.
Sumalo Kagawad Jun Pangilinan, also a beneficiary, profusely thanked the RDC and the Litton Lamily for their sincerity to donate the lots to them.

Another donee, Mario Dela Fuente, fought his emotion as he thanked Alexander Litton and the entire Litton Family for the donation.
RDC Administration Officer Renato Rapisura, and Commmunity Relations officer Venus Sollestre and Marietta Dumangeng were also present during the ceremony.
RDC manages 213-hectare Litton property in Sumalo with the vision to develop it into a bustling industrial territory.
