The first three months of 2010 saw a return to encouraging positive growth rates for Burgundy wines, particularly for export. It seems that the phase of wine clearance prices is coming to an end and that the fall of the euro is an extremely positive factor for wine exports.

Vineyard wine sales:

* +3 % by volume

(total for 8 months campaign: August 2009-March 2010)

Supermarket wine sales (France):

* – 0.5 % by volume

* + 0.5 % by value

(total for 12 months up to end of February 2010/2009)

Exports wine sales:

* +5.5 % by volume

* +11 % by value

Getting to the Clark Wine Center wine shop from Manila is quite simple:  after entering Clark Freeport from Dau and Angeles City, proceed straight along the main highway M A Roxas. Clark Wine Center is the stand-along white building on the right, at the corner A Bonifacio Ave.  From the Clark International Airport DMIA, ask the taxi to drive towards the entrance of Clark going to Angeles City.  From Mimosa, just proceed towards the exit of Clark and this wine shop is on the opposite side of the main road M A Roxas.
