The financial and economic crisis has not succeeded in curbing the growth of wine consumption in the United States. According to the most recent figures from the 2010 Wine Handbook, published by the Beverage Information Group, the wine sector achieved positive figures in 2009, with, for the sixteenth consecutive year, a rise in sales. In 2009, wine sales progressed 0.8%, to reach 297 million 12 bottle cases. This growth takes advantage of domestic wines, whose sales grew 1.8%, whereas imported wines dropped 2.2%. But certain smaller wine-producing countries like Chile, New Zealand and Portugal are seeing growth in sales of their wines. The authors of the study predict a continuation of this increase, predicting sales of 310 million cases in 2014.

Getting to the Clark Wine Center wine shop from Manila is quite simple:  after entering Clark Freeport from Dau and Angeles City, proceed straight along the main highway M A Roxas. Clark Wine Center is the stand-along white building on the right, at the corner A Bonifacio Ave.  From the Clark International Airport DMIA, ask the taxi to drive towards the entrance of Clark going to Angeles City.  From Mimosa, just proceed towards the exit of Clark and this wine shop is on the opposite side of the main road M A Roxas.
