Gunmen burn 12 Victory Liner buses in Tarlac

TARLAC (Updated 10:14 a.m.) — Armed men, believed to be members of the New People’s Army (NPA), burned 12 Victory Liner buses in Capas town, Tarlac Sunday night.
Capas police chief Felix Verbo said the seven suspects attacked the Victory Liner bus terminal in Barangay Estrada around 8 p.m.
He said the suspects disarmed the terminal’s security guards before burning the 12 Victory Liner units due for repair and its engineering office.
Seven of the 12 buses had reportedly no engines while the other five were not in running condition.
One security guard was brought to a hospital after being hit by a stray bullet in his right hand.
The fire was declared out past 11 p.m.
