Christmas is just right around the corner and Clark Wine Center has some fabulous packages and promos for this season.

Red and White Wine Christmas Package

One bottle each of Red and White Bordeaux from Chateau Vrai Caillou. This highly rated wine from the “midi” or the middle of the Bordeaux makes an easy-drinking and soft red that pairs well with a lot of food items while the white is crisp, young, and refreshing. The bottles are also colored red and green–perfect for this season.

His and Hers Package

He might want beer, she might like sparkling wine to celebrate. This package has a bottle of Aegerter Cremant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blanc, a fruity and good alternative to the more expensive Champagne and a bottle of Vintage Beer from Canada. Vintage Beer has a fuller, more potent flavor (and higher alcohol content) than regular beer and is not filteres so the lees can add more flavor as it ages in the bottle.

Vintage Wine Package

Wines meant to be aged in bottles are hard to find so matured wines are even harder to find. This package includes two bottles of red French Wines which have matured for at least 15 years. Chatea La Croix d’Arrialh, a Merlot-based wine from Bordeaux has developed oak-derived flavors and aromas reminiscent of spices and cedar wood while the Saint Joseph from the Rhone Valley would have spicy and leathery notes.

Box of 4 Sampler Set

4 Different styles of red wine varietals from all over the world: Black River Malbec from Argentina has a blackberry fruit-driven flavor while the Belle Ambiance Californian Cabernet Sauvignon has a slightly minty, redcurrant flavor; De Bortoli Australian Shiraz is spicy and smoky but still pretty fruity while the Guerra Mencia from Spain gives a lot of raspberry, oak, toast, and coconut flavors.

Premium Wines

Nothing says luxury like a fine glass of Champagne or a good Bordeaux wine. Why not both? The De Sousa is a grower-produced Champagne promoting higher quality of grapes and wine production than their big named counterparts. Ch. Crabitey is a good quality Bordeaux from the Graves region. The special Cuvee comes from their year 2000 vintage that is considered as one of the best recent years in Bordeaux.
