New tactics this year in the campaign for the promotion of French wines in the USA, with the launch of a wine training course over the Internet. This wine learning platform, available 24/7, will aim to improve the French wine knowledge of American professionals and consumers. The objective is to develop a certification program recognized by wine professionals and destined to become an authority in terms of French wine training. The platform will start up in 2010 with a program designed for wine professionals and in 2011 and 2012 it will be enriched in order to appeal equally to consumers. There will be 15 interactive online presentations, ranging from 15 to 30 minutes with texts, photos and video about wine. “The program will cover varied subjects like French terroirs and their history, recommending and serving a wine, a presentation of grape varieties, an educational presentation of the different wine-growing regions as well as a Top 50 French wines” according to Sheri Sauter Morano, Master of Wine and French wine ambassador to the USA.

Getting to the Clark Wine Center wine shop from Manila is quite simple:  after entering Clark Freeport from Dau and Angeles City, proceed straight along the main highway M A Roxas. Clark Wine Center is the stand-along white building on the right, at the corner A Bonifacio Ave.  From the Clark International Airport DMIA, ask the taxi to drive towards the entrance of Clark going to Angeles City.  From Mimosa, just proceed towards the exit of Clark and this wine shop is on the opposite side of the main road M A Roxas.
