Councilor bullish of 297 manpower graduates

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — City Councilor Jimmy Lazatin is optimistic that the new set of 297 newly skilled graduates of the city’s Manpower and Development and Livelihood Training Center would have more opportunities to find stable jobs soon.
The new graduates finished its training program and are now part of the pool of skilled workers of the city.
They were formally given their conferment certificates during the 16th graduation rites of the training center held at the Heroes Hall Mini-Theater here recently.
Lazatin told Sun.Star Pampanga that the graduates are also being helped by the city in finding possible employment through job matching.
The graduates come from different barangays of the city and are enrolled in different skill courses.
Graduates from Barangay Maimpis received training in reflexology, Barangay Saguin in rug making, Northville in massage therapy and paper handicraft, Barangays San Felipe and Sta. Lucia in rug making, Barangays Sta. Teresita, San Nicolas, Sindalan and Pulung Maragul in massage therapy and Barangay Panipuan in cosmetology.
The best students for the various training courses include Moana Marie Enano, Lanie Garcia, Alex Yutuc, Juanita Mercado, Ginina Catacutan, Benefrida Guevarra, Elsie Cayanga, April Cadero, Carla Mae Lee Jean, Nikka Ann Gadia, Acelyn Dizon, Gennelyn Escalante and Ma. Vilma Mayores.
